David Rodan - Port Adelaide Football Club
David was recruited by AFL club Richmond Tigers at the end of 2001 at pick 33 in the Draft.
Upon debut David played every game for two years, and was nominated for the AFL Rising Star award in his debut season.
Unfortunately he injured his knee and spent the entire 2005 season on the sidelines after a promising pre season. David made a return in 2006, but was delisted at the end of the season.
David's career was given a reprieve by Port Adelaide giving him another chance at AFL football. Port Adelaide showed faith in David as he played every game for the Power in 2007 and won the club’s most improved player in what was a great year for the Port Adelaide Football Club.
At only 24 years of age he has got experience to offer and continued on from a stellar 2007 season.
David played every game in 2008 and led the way in what was a difficult year. Port Adelaide will look to rebuild in 2009 and David will be a important part of this process as they will look to win games and develop youth.
David is based in Adelaide and is available for appearances and Q&A.
