An invitation is an announcement to your family and friends that there is a special occasion which you would like them to join you in celebrating. Your invitations are also the first impression your guests will receive and it can start to set the scene or theme for your occasion. Whether it is an engagement, wedding, anniversary, baptism, christening, work function, Christmas party, house warming or a milestone/special birthday, the number of choices is generally BOTH confusing and expensive.
The more personalised your request, generally speaking, the more your invites or other stationery are likely to cost you. In most cases, companies will not make your stationery without a minimum order of 100 or sometimes more!! This probably isn’t a problem for corporations who have a huge budget for their events. This becomes extremely expensive and wasteful as you will end up with maybe double or three times the amount you actually need!
This is where I come in! I will hand-make the amount of stationery you actually need, as opposed to the amount others will make and therefore charge you for. Whether you want 5 or 105, the amount you request is ALL you will pay for! Your items could include, but are not limited to: Any event Invitations (ie. 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, engagements, weddings, baptisms, etc!), Place cards, Thank-you Cards, ‘Order of Ceremony’ booklets and Birth Announcements.
Your stationery can be made as individual as your event! You can choose everything or nothing or somewhere in between! If you wish you can just choose colors and I will do the rest, or you could choose everything down to the paper type that is used. THIS IS TOTALLY UP TO YOU!!
The 2 main parts involved in making your stationery is the paper/card itself and vellum (also known as transparency or translucent paper.) Some of the paper options vary from metallic to pearl to non-metallic papers in a wide range of colors, and in some cases patterns, i.e. Frangipanis, Gerberas, Lillies, Roses, other flowers as well as stripes, spots, stars etc. The list could go on for ever!
I have a number of samples of which I could email you photos to view (some of which are shown below), or you could send me an explanation of your idea and I will make up a free example for you to see BEFORE any commitment is made.
This is the same even if you choose one of my samples but in different colors. You will ALWAYS have the final say!
