Hey, my name is Chris Garbacz. I am a passionate Melbourne based Photographer who has created a reputation for my professionalism, bubbly personality, unique creative style and dramatic digital retouching. This consistently tests my ability to stay versatile, especially in lighting techniques, creative camera angles and producing emotionally engaging pictures. In September of 2006 I learned the fundamentals and the tricks of the trade by working with an award winning Melbourne Wedding Photography studio. But, it wasn't until I became exposed to Portraiture, Fashion and Advertising that I really became truly inspired and fun loving photographer. Capturing stunning images has become my hobby, my favorite pastime and a profession that gets me jumping out of bed every morning! My credentials are boosted by a University degree in Multimedia Design and Digital Arts which opened my eyes to a wide range of design fields. Although I have worked in Graphic Design, Web Design, 3d Animation, Video Production and Retouching, I am now fueling my insatiability with a strong passion for photography and a desire to create original and powerful images. Two years later, in September 2008, I became obsessed with photography and eager to spread my wings, so I decided to start CGI Studios (Chris Garbacz Imaging Studios), a business that has an uncompromising pursuit of excellence that thrives to consistently not only meet but exceed all of my clients expectations. Today, I run a Creative and Innovative Portrait, Fashion, Advertising, Headshot, Model Portfolio and Wedding Photography Studio in Richmond, Melbourne. I also have an exhibition touring Victoria called ‘Look at Me’ that focuses on the diversity and pride of young people with disabilities. It has gained exposure in The Age, the ABC and Federation Square.
