Emu Nomads

Roving resplendently on their Giant Ernu companions, this exotic duo will delight as they combine their elegant puppetry with buffoonery, subtlety with crassness! Elia and Esta will have enthralled and amazed by their daring feats of Emu Dancing. In their travels across the universe, Emu Nomads have performed at many far out events including ... Broome Pearl Festival, Oerol Festival (Netherlands), Gent Puppet and Buskers Street Theatre Festival, Glastonbury, Christchurch World Buskers Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne King fisher Festival and the Auckland Teddy sears Picnic.  The Emu Nomads are ready to entertain the world and would love to include you in their travels.

Dancing Dragon Puppet Theatre

Emma Pryse - Director.  Emma has studied music, visual and performing arts and has also trained with Philippe Gulier. She has written performed end collaborated on three plays for children, Princess Frilly Pants, Winnie end the Waste Monster end Dance Dragon. Emma has worked as a maker end designer for Handspein Theatre and Mainstreet Theatre as well as on large scale community fire events. Emme is a founding artist of the CERES Return of the Kingf isher Festival and has worked with thousands of people as an artist in residence on performances end community events.

Stafanie Robinson - Stefanie is a graduate of the John Bolton Theatre School and has trained with AI Wonder. She has performed as a member of the Basle mask troupe Endangered Species, at festivals and events across Australia and New Zectiond. She has worked on large scale community f ire events and as a visual artist and choreographer with Burning Sensations and Neil Cameron Productions. Stefanie specialises in movement and mask work and plays with f ire in her spare time.

As well as providing scintillating entertainment, Dancing Dragon are available to run workshops in a variety of artforms (puppet making, mask etc) to create exciting parades, celebrations and events in your community.
