Anne Robertson was born on the 7th March 1983, raised in a talented Samoan family of 9 (Her Parents, 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers - Anne being the middle child) music always played a big part growing up. Singing in Church since the tender age of five and involved with performances from School, Family Events to Community Events was where it all started for Anne which she says lead her to the path of wanting to be a professional at what she loved to do most, Sing. Winning many Singing Competitions and Talent Quests even crowned RNB Idol in 2004. Anne always says that she has a god given gift, singing even before she could speak, singing is just her life and if an opportunity arose no matter where it was, Anne would be there.
Well known within her community as a triple threat - Singer, Songwriter & Dancer, when Anne made her national appearance on the Third Series of Channel Tens - Australian Idol beating over 25,000 people nationally who auditioned and capturing the nation with her rendition of Diana Ross's "Home", Anne was voted in by the nation as the first Top 12 Finalist for 2005 and fast became a household name. Not only capturing the nation with her beautiful voice, unforgettable stage presence and looks but a heart of gold to go with it all. Labelled as the series Sweetheart and heralded as one of the most promising performers and vocalist in the competition, even dubbed as a contender to take the title as the Australian Idol. One of the series shocking moments was Anne's departure from the competition which left her finishing in 6th place. This didnt stop Anne.
