A DIDGERIDOO EXPERIENCE will bring a unique and contemporary Australian atmosphere to your event.
Flinn Donovan has been playing the Didgeridoo, a fascinating and ancient instrument of indigenous Australia, for over 14 years. He belongs to the Gumbayngir people and language group from the northern coastal area of new south whales. He grew up in western Sydney.
The Didgeridoo, traditionally known as the Yadaki, is customarily a ceremonial instrument, however, we believe that the natural, vibrant and emotive sounds of the Didgeridoo can bring joy and energy to anybody at any occasion and this is our aim.
Flinn will travel to your event and provide you with a one of its kind didgeridoo solo performance. Flinn’s unique, freeform style is an energetic blend of traditional and contemporary stylings which will uplift and inspire. In this way Flinn is able to tailor his performance to perfectly suit your individual audience and occasion.
Flinn’s didgeridoo was designed and painted by the internationally successful and controversial indigenous artist Burnum Burnum. It is marked with the stories and totems of his people. It was acquired by the Mundine and Donovan families and was inherited by Flinn.
Flinn has sound knowledge and understandings of the History and Significance of the Didgeridoo and is willing to share some of his knowledge with Audiences.
