She was also fortunate to have a professional belly dancer in her family: her Aunt Jenny was one of the first belly dancers to perform in Sydney, and helped establish belly dance in Australia alongside icons like Amera Eid. Aunt Jenny has been an invaluable teacher and mentor to Eleni throughout her career.

She has traveled overseas and within Australia to perfect her art with internationally-respected teachers, to perform and to teach. She is now settled back in Sydney and looking forward to renewing her relationship with audiences here.
