Anukara is a Tribal Bellydance performance Trio offering sassy, fun, professional and family-friendly performance for audiences and events with plenty of delicious skirt action and prop mastery. Anukara sees the combined talents of Tribal Master Teachers & Consummate Performers Dee Thomson & Fiona MacPherson in their delicious new dance venture, joined by experienced Performer Melle Dixon in 2016. Anukara’s performance are dynamic and evocative, and will create their performance with your event in mind – with the option to include swords (single and double), silk veils and fans, decorative tribal baskets, zils, (Turkish cymbals) flags, and even firework on special request. The soundtrack used for your event will be tailored with your needs in mind, with an option to include a Middle Eastern duo upon request for a special live music option. For a truly unique experience Anukara can also offer additional performers for your event – as founding members of the Silk Road Tribal Collective – a live music and dance ensemble created for the Woodford Folk Festival 2015/2016.
