Baby Animal Farms

Baby Animal Farms can make your event a truly memorable experience.  We bring the bush to the city! We provide petting zoo hire for all occasions in any environment; indoor and outdoor, small compact areas, large open spaces, unusual locations even your own backyard.

Our cute adorable animals have been lovingly hand raised. Children can enjoy feeding and playing with the animals in a safe and secure enclosure with our friendly trained staff on hand to educate, encourage learning and provide entertainment for hours.

We have piglets, calves, donkeys, ponies, horses, lambs and kids, sheep, goats, baby chickens and ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs – cute baby animals all your round!

We specialise in Shopping Centres, Corporate Functions, Fetes, Fun Days, Childcare, Schools and Childcare Centres, Vacation Care, Aged Care Facilities and more!

Our petting zoo experiences are as individual as your requirements.  We are happy to tailor our program to your special needs.

We offer an engaging, hands-on experience of the sights, sounds, smells and touches of the farm.

A snapshot of a typical experience:

• Hand feed the animals with pellets while walking around the pens.
• Bottle-feeding our lambs, kids and baby calf while learning where milk comes from “a recent report quoted children thought that chocolate milk came from brown cows!”
• Sitting to hold and gently pat baby chicks, ducklings, rabbits learning quirky little facts like “why do rabbits have long ears?”
• Feeding and patting the piglets is always a noisy favourite.
• Brushing the bunnies and guinea pigs.

Petting Zoos are also a popular attraction at Fetes, Fun Days, and Corporate functions.

• A visit would include a variety of baby farm animals. We have lambs, a calf, piglet, sheep and goats, baby chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs and ducks. 
• Hand feed sheep and goats, bottle-feeding the calf and lambs, hold and pat the small animals.
• Children love riding the ponies, for all those budding cowboys and saddle club girls. We have a range of ponies and horses available enabling riders of all ages to enjoy the experience.
• We can also offer animal themed arts & crafts, face painters and balloon artists to complete the farm experience.

Our mobile animal farms are always a popular attraction at shopping centres, especially during the school holidays. We offer a range of activities throughout the day to keep everyone entertained and the best part is we leave your centre clean and mess free!

• We set up our enclosures on extra strong tarps with plenty of fresh straw for the animals to feed on. 
• Our farmyard animals include; lambs, kids and a calf for the children to bottle feed, piglets, sheep and goats for hand feeding as well as baby chicks, ducks and bunny rabbits for the children to pat and cuddle.
• Experienced friendly handlers ensuring there are a limited number of children in the enclosure for each 10 minute session.   Centre Management will only every receive great feedback from customers.

We have found that “Diversional Therapy” in nursing homes and special care homes has also become an intrinsic and enjoyable experience we offer.

• We bring a selection of Australia's most popular farm animals including an alpaca, a young calf, piglet, kids and lambs, chicks and ducklings, rabbits and guinea pigs.
• Our pony is a popular addition for either the young people to ride or the young at heart to pat.

A beautiful story we need to share – “In a recent nursing home visit we came across an elderly woman in her years at the home the nurses had never seen her smile or communicate with others.  We sat a 4 week old lamb on her lap to bottle feed, her face lit up and she began to speak in her native tongue, everyone in the room was delighted”.

Children suffering physical and mental disabilities come alive when they get the opportunity to cuddle and pat our beautiful baby animals. They are fascinated with the ducks and the piglets and love cuddling the alpaca and pony.

Our enclosure is pram and wheelchair friendly.  We can either set up inside or outside and we are entirely flexible to your needs on the day.  We are mess free and smile essential!

We can supply 2 trained staff members who will ensure everyone is safe and happy.

Diversional therapy is highly recommended for people of all ages with varying degrees of disabilities.

Be safe in the knowledge that our baby animal farms are fully approved by the Department of Primary Industries and we can therefore offer you valid public liability insurance of $20m.
