Kip Gamblin trained in all facets of the Performing Arts whilst growing up in Sydney’s east. He attended The McDonald College of Performing Arts for his secondary schooling in Strathfield. Upon graduation Kip was accepted into The Australian Ballet School where he spent three years before joining the Australian Ballet Company and then the Western Australian Ballet Company, eventually becoming a principal dancer with Graham Murphy’s Sydney Dance Company. Kip has performed throughout America, Asia, Europe and Australasia.
Kip’s first major acting role was in the feature film Kick in which he played Roland. He then shot the short film, Gone, for the same producers and more recently appeared in the hit, Moulin Rouge, for Bazmark. Kip has been the face of numerous advertising campaigns. He is a seen as a role model for young men in the performing arts in Australia, having worked in so many different facets of the Industry and is constantly asked to be a guest at various corporate and public events..
Kip joined the cast of Home and Away as Scott late 2002. He then managed to star with his wife to be Linda in Tivoli at the Capital Theatre whilst shooting for the Seven network for it’s Sydney season. Kip is the proud father of Kelly, who is now four.
