They are originally from Russia and they have worked extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.
Gleb and Elena have been ranked # 10 in the World in the Pro-Latin American division by the World Dance Council [WDC] ranking awards.
Elena comes from a third generation Russian performing arts family where entertainment is life. Elena is a graduate from the Arts and Culture Theatre University in Russia [Moscow] and she has masters in choreography degree. She has also studied Drama and Theatre Arts at the prestigious Moscow Theatre Arts University (MHAT). Elena is also internationally certified as a Professional Latin and Ballroom teacher in England.
Gleb achieved first major achievement at the age of 7 years old when he attained the title of Russian Champion in the youth category and was consequently invited to represent Latvia for 2 years. Gleb transformed into a Professional Latin Dancer in Russia at the age of 17 years old. Gleb studied acting and drama at the Moscow Theatre Arts University and he also graduated from the GITIS’s Russian Theatre Arts University with a Master in Choreography.
Elena is a consistent commercial apparel model and has featured in major international advertising campaigns for Cathay Pacific, Royal Casino, Motorola and Coca Cola just to name a few.
Gleb was the first Host of television show “Time Out” in New York City and he has also hosted concerts given by a range of American stars in major New York venues and prestigious jazz clubs.
Gleb & Elena won their first major title in October 2007 being the International Rising Star Professional Latin Championship in London. Such success took them to execute an Asian Tour throughout Tokyo, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Macau then expanding to Germany, Netherlands and Australia. Today they still continue to work extensively in between Hong Kong, motherland Russia and other Asian cities. They are also both qualified to teach in England, Hong Kong, Russia and Australia.
