Shura Taft
Shura Taft is a quirky and charismatic rising radio and television personality. He is adored by kids and parents alike as the current co-host of the children’s variety and cartoon show ‘Kids’ WB’.
Shura also recently completed his first series as host of his own game show, ‘Pyramid’, currently airing weekdays on Channel 9. He can also be seen on Nine’s top rating show ‘20 to 1’.
In 2008, Shura was a contestant on the hilarious competition TV Show ‘Celebrity Singing Bee’ for the Nine Network, and won $50,000 for his chosen charity! He has also hosted segments on Channel 9’s ‘Postcards’, this New Year’s Eve live telecast ‘Fireworks in the City’ and 2007 ‘Winter in the City’ Special.
During his career in the entertainment business, Shura has also done his fair share of traveling. In 2006 he co-presented a travel documentary and worked for 3 weeks in India, filming the first of a 10-part travel series with Jennifer Adams. His role included on-screen presenting, camera work and off-screen production. The series was broadcast on Channel 10 in June of 2008.
Shura has been involved in countless MC events including GPO Girl's Night out at Moonee Valley, the Fashions on the Field at Caulfield Cup and Britz Campervan expo at Federation Square where he interviewed Dermott Brereton, Jules Lund and Shelley Craft.
He is involved in a host of MC charity work including the Leukaemia Foundation ‘Shave for a Cure’ alongside Dylan Lewis and the ‘Zoee Foundation’ Annual Charity Night.
Nova 100 has requested Shura for many MC events as he is renowned for knowing his way around a microphone. He brings an energy and enthusiasm to his performances and is a professional on all levels.
Shura Taft can currently be heard on-air at weekends on Nova 100 Radio Station and seen nationally on Channel 9’s ‘Kids’ WB’ on Saturday mornings AND ‘PYRAMID’ weekdays on Nine.
