Established as one of Melbourne’s premier rock bands, 80's On The Edge continues to attract an enthusiastic and growing following at all their gigs. Playing the powerful music of some of rock music’s greats, the band incorporates a killer 80s repertoire (with a sprinkling of 70s and 90s), dynamic ‘concert like’ performances, exceptional vocals and quality sound to create a party to end all parties!!
80’s On the Edge creates the moods and rich vocal harmonies of material by Fleetwood Mac, the rawness and energy of the ‘new wave’ multiple hit makers such as Blondie, Billy Idol, The Pretenders, B52’s, Divinyls,The Police, Eurythmics, Kim Carnes, The GoGos and The Romantics, have some fun with the quirky, but legendary, one-hit wonders we all love of the time including Nena, Underworld, The Knack, Devo, and The Buggles and keep the party stoked with the classic Rock and Pop songs of the times from Suzi Quatro, Dragon, Pat Benetar, AC/DC and T-Rex and some of the great party favourites of the 90s.
80’s On the Edge’s lineup includes members from some of Melbourne’s most successful bands including White Man Can't Reggae, Revolution, Rhiannon- 'a tribute to Fleetwood Mac', the OZ eurythmics show, Yesterday's Heroes, Fleetwood to the Max.
