About Chris is renowned for his virtuosic technique on the guitar and his ability to play a wide range of musical styles. His repertoire of instrumental songs spans genres from Contemporary/Pop, R&B, Jazz, Latin, right through to classical. At age 15, Chris was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS). At age 18, he was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance degree in 2001. Before graduating, Chris had already begun a professional music career playing all over Melbourne in Jazz clubs, Big Bands, Acid Jazz, Funk & RnB groups and with several cover, tribute and corporate bands. Chris has also played on the Melbourne professional theatre scene in shows including The Rocky Horror Picture Show. ‘Richard O’Brien, the creator of the Rocky Horror Picture Show - ‘I just love the solos Chris came up with during the show, virtuosic & just simply incredible’ He has performed on stage with Robbie Williams (the Robbie Williams Biopic Movie ‘Better Man’, to be released 2024), John Foreman’ s Aussie Pops Orchestra (resident guitarist), James Morrison (trumpeter/Jazz Musician), The Melbourne Guitar Show 2019- current (annual performing artist), Italian crooner Patrizio Buanne, Marina Prior, Anthony Callea, Kate Ceberano, Dale Ryder (Boom Crash Opera), Tim Watson (Taxiride), Adam Thompson (Chocolate Star Fish), The Rob Mills band (Australian Idol) and the Chris Bieniek Group.
