Velvet Lilo is an exciting, new corporate, function and wedding band presenting Jazz, Soul, Disco, Groove and Funk music. The band performs an eclectic mix of songs by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind and Fire, Bill Withers, Tower of Power , The Metres, and more.
The ensemble comprises of Joanna Lavell on vocals and a rhythm section made up guitar, keyboard, bass and drums that are dedicated to pure groove. Velvet Lilo’s sound is smooth, soulful, funky and groove orientated. The band is both visually appealing and musically versatile.
