G'day, Groove Indigo has a very distinctive jazz/blues sound. Restaurateurs have commented that our sound is easy listening but modern and fresh. Groove Indigo is currently performing regularly in small bars and cafes as a Trio and on occasions as a four or five piece for corporate functions.
Groove Indigo is made up of mature professional musicians who have played in jazz, blues, rock, country and cover bands for the past twenty years. Initially Groove Indigo likened to a cross between Moss Alison, Tony Joe White and Cassandra Wilson, Groove Indigo's music has continued to evolve with distinctive interpretation of standards and evocative original material.
Groove Indigo has a musical depth and diversity to weave and sculpture into a unique musical experience. The music is clean, dynamic and hypnotic in its grooves with lyrics that reflect modern culture.
