MJ & The Progression

MJ & The Progression are Adelaide's premier 'pop-jazz' and funk band bringing fantastic arrangements to popular contemporary songs and transforming them into swing, cool jazz and funk. Think Michael Jackson, ACDC and the Doors with a swing or bossa-nova twist. Other classic hits come from artists such as Queen, Cream, Megan Trainor, Caro Emerald, Lorde and Daft Punk.  

The band has been hosting shows for the Adelaide Fringe, Cabaret Fringe and Umbrella Festivals for many years as well as performing for corporate and private functions (including Great Gatsby themed weddings).

Comprised of a female singer, guitar (and vocals), bass (and vocals), drums, sax, trumpet and flugelhorn, MJ & The Progression are the perfect choice to add something a little different with a lot of style to your next event.
