Natalie Colavito is a 22 year old breath of fresh air on the air on the Australian music scene. She is currently studying at The Australian Institute of Music in Sydney to achieve a Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Music. She also completed her HSC at AIM High, graduating with honours. Natalie never stops performing and throughout her young career Natalie has competed in numerous competitions all over NSW. She holds the title of the "MATS Junior Performer of The Year 2004". Natalie was chosen as a special guest performer at the 2004 "MO" Awards Ceremony held at the Entertainment Centre, Sydney. Where she recieved a standing ovation from an audience of one thousand entertainers and guests. Natalie's T.V appearances include channel 9's 'The Footy Show' and Channel 7's 'Sunrise'. In 2005 she was chosen to perform The Australian National Anthem at a Rugby Union Test match between Australia and South Africa. Held at Telstra Stadium, Sydney.
Where she sang for a world wide audience of millions, two years later (2007),Natalie finishes in the top 24 of Australian Idol. In 2008, Natalie won the title of 'Contemporary Singer of The Year' in the McDonalds Performing Arts Challenge. Proudly presented by the Sydney Eisteddfod. Natalie is a versatile performer who sings form the heart with feeling and gusto. Performing solo or working with a band, Natalie leaves the audience mesmerised with the power of her voice. Performing solo and with her band she has performed at various venues such as Coogee Diggers where she held a one year residency, Newtown RSL (a two month residency), Arq Nite club where she is normally a guest performer and various other venues around Sydney. Natalie combines both her studies and a passion for music to help her achieve her aim of maintaining a long and successful career in the entertainment industry.
