The Dukes of Rhythm are a 4-piece functions/party band based in Gympie, QLD on the Sunshine Coast. Their music consists of well-known and popular songs from many eras. Their goal is to present quality entertainment, by way of great music and entertaining humour, which will appeal to a wide audience that spans many generations. This makes them perfect for functions like weddings and family parties attended by everyone from the kids to grandma and grand dad.
Everyone will hear music they know and like to dance to. They also bring along some really cool dance floor lighting. They are an "All live" band no pre-recorded backing tracks - everything is created on the spot. Although they are only a three peice they achieve a big sound.
With vocal harmonies, changing instruments, and synthesiser played by the lead guitarists feet they sound much bigger than they look. One of the members is also a profesional DJ who does some great dance beats during the bands breaks.
