The Irish Rogues Biography
- World Class Entertainment with a Dash of Irish Charm -
The Irish Rogues are a dynamic Irish party band who regularly play at The Mercantile Hotel and Scruffy Murphys Irish Pub in Sydney.
Formerly of The Irish Drovers, Patrick Brady leads this versatile trio who are ideal for weddings, birthday parties and special occasions formal or informal.
During his many years performing with The Irish Drovers, Patrick played three times weekly in The Sydney Hilton Hotel and was a frequent guest on every major TV station in Australia.
Since then Patrick Brady has entertained Australia's Ambassador to The United States of America in Washington DC and regularly toured internationally. He has performed on the worlds finest cruise ships including The QE2.
The Irish Rogues play fiddle, guitars, tin whistle and harmonica and sing all of your favourite Irish songs and play a great selection of Jigs and Reels. It's all rounded off with some Irish humour and Patrick's relaxed friendly way of communicating with his audience.
The Irish Rogues will play some pleasant, unobtrusive melodies while people are eating and then liven things up for dancing and partying.
As well as Irish songs they can also play a bunch of contemporary songs such as "Brown Eyed Girl" and "I'm a Believer" to keep everybody happy.
The Irish Rogues always work hard to entertain their audience - young and old alike.
"We supply our own PA system and you may use our microphones for speeches and announcements etc." says Fiddle player Anna.
"If there are any special songs you would like, say a paticular song for the Bridal Waltz, please advise us in advance and we will play it for you".
The Irish Rogues always leave audiences smiling and tapping their toes.

Hi Patrick,
Once again, I would like to thank you for performing at Mum’s 60th birthday party. All the guests and most importantly – Mum had a great time. She said this was the best birthday party she has ever had.
-
Patrick performed for my Mum’s birthday party. He was fantastic – a very talented musician who can play guitar, the tin whistle, the harmonica and can sing! He knew every song we requested and fitted right in with the crowd using great humour and getting all the crowd involved to sign and dance. I highly recommend him and we would love him to perform again at our next party. Highly recommend Patrick!
I have also included a review from my Mum Mary:
-
Paddy was an excellent musician, he got the crowd clapping, dancing and singing along. He was pleasant to the guests who were from many different countries around the world. Everyone asked when he was coming back.
Thank you Paddy for your professionalism and humour it made the party one we will never forget and look forward to the next time.
Thanks Paddy.

Just thought I would say Hello.
You played at our Wedding in Dubbo - Peter & Kirsten Hennessy.
It was such a good night and people still talk about the night and especially the band. We will keep an eye on the site and hopefully catch you play again.
PS we have had three boys Paddy (8) Ned (6) and Finn(3).
Cheers from the Hennessy’s at Dubbo.
