Hugh features Australian songs, traditional, folk, old and new but he also plays old and new popular songs. He can play acoustic, unamplified or amplified, but he doesn't use electronics or recordings. He is good for all age groups especially older people and children. Hugh is an experienced MC for events or functions and can entertain people as background music or when they want to dance. While Hugh is generally not 'high energy' music he does have a repertoire of popular hits that can get people dancing. Hugh can play as a wandering minstrel or street musician, unamplified, and enjoys engaging with people at events and functions. Hugh enjoys presenting stories and story songs, in the folk tradition, when people are interested in that. Hugh has a nice repertoire of children's songs which please children and parents.
