Ben Smith is a professional musician that has performed at venues in and outside of Adelaide for the last 10 years. His 10 years experience comprises playing in cover bands, duos and as a soloist at venues such as the Alma, Oyster Bar, Grand Hotel, PJ O’Briens, Stirling Hotel, Sunset Bar and Port Lincoln Hotel to name a few. He has also played at a number of weddings and private shows including corporate shows for the Adelaide Crows and Norwood Food and Wine Festival.
While performing on a weekly basis, Ben Smith has also studied his craft at the Conservatorium, majoring in Jazz Voice. He is accredited with a Bachelor of Music Education at the University of Adelaide and a Diploma in Music. Born in 1985 in a family that all play music, Ben Smith started learning piano and guitar at a young age and later took up singing in his teenage years. He is renowned for his soulful vocal tone with music that combines rock, funk, folk, blues, pop and soul.
