Mrs Sippy Jazz Band

mrs sippy jazz band is available in a combination of five piece traditional or a six piece dixieland style format with female vocalist.

Both combinations are suitable for Corporate functions, weddings / birthday / anniversary parties and dinner dances. Assistance and advice is available on band choice which may depend on function and budget requirements and size of venue.
 

Playing acoustically, mrs sippy jazz band is also very popular as a roving jazz band playing all those old traditional / dixieland & New Orleans favourites, around your garden, courtyard & outdoor areas, also street gigs, markets, real estate auctions, shop openings, or business promotions. The five piece combo comprises trumpet, clarinet, banjo, washboard & sousaphone, with some fun vocals by several members. Band members believe in a bit of fun and will happily play a happy birthday or special request next to the guest of honour as required !!  A repertoire of some happy foot tapping sing - a - long numbers are also included such as - Five foot two, When Your'e Smiling, You are my sunshine, Bye Bye Blackbird, Sweet Georgia Brown, Darktown Strutters Ball, Alexanders Ragtime Band, Road to Gundagai to name a few.

The popees jazz band originally specialised in children's entertainment and with the sad, sudden passing of one of the band members, later re formed as the " mrs sippy jazz band "  however can still perform as the popees jazz band.

Fascinating Rythm is a 4 piece group comprising piano, bass, clarinet and drums and with an optional female vocalist.
